From September until December, I will be taking classes at Pacific Monday, Wednesday, and
Friday. Every Tuesday and Thursday, I will be splitting my time between the first and fifth grade class. During the Tuesdays
and Thursdays, I will be observing as well as giving limited instruction. As the year progresses, I will have more responsibilities
and will transition into my solo teaching in January.
Beginning in January, I will be at the Findley elementary school full time. I will be solo teaching in the
first grade class for the first nine weeks and in the fifth grade class for the last nine weeks. I am excited to embark on
this journey and can not wait to becoming a teacher!
I was
born in Berkeley, California on December 22, 1983. I was raised in the Bay
Area and did not moved to Beaverton, Oregon until recently in June. I am very
close to my family and am very thankful for their support in my life. I have
one older brother and a sister-in-law. By next March, I will be an aunt!!! I am
very excited and cannot wait for my new nephew to come into this world.

I graduated at University of California of Davis in December 2004 with a Bachelors degree
in Human Development. During my undergrad, I was a bus driver. I drove 40 ft. buses mostly taking other college students to
and from their apartment to school. Though I had a lot of fun driving, I knew that my passion was working with kids and decided
to pursue it
After
my bus driving days, I worked at a Child Development Center (CDI) at an
elementary school. I was a teacher there and planned many lessons ranging from
sports to art activities for children. It was at that time did I realize that I
wanted to start teaching and decided to attend Pacific University.
